In Britain, voting takes place in ballot boxes
In Britain, there is a House of Commons like the Lok Sabha in India. The Rajya Sabha is called the House of Lords. The third part is called the sovereign. Like the Lok Sabha in India, voting for the House of Commons takes place every five years in Britain. The majority figure for forming a government in Britain is 326. The party which has the support of 326 seats is invited by the King or Queen to form the government. In Britain, EVMs are not used like in India, instead voting takes place in ballot boxes.
