Madhya Pradesh News: As per the wishes of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, preparations have already begun for Simhastha 2028 in Ujjain. A 12 meter wide bridge is going to be built from Ram Ghat towards the small bridge at Dutt Akhara Ghat, for which a proposal will be sent to the government. Parallel to this, accidents have been averted many times in the past due to the pressure of the crowd on the existing bridge.
In view of the preparations for Simhastha 2028 in Ujjain, proposals for building the necessary bridge are being sent to the government. Ujjain Commissioner Sanjay Gupta, while inspecting along with the officials of the Public Works Department, directed to prepare a proposal to build another bridge parallel to the bridge connecting Ramghat and Akhara Ghat and send it to the government. During this inspection, a proposal to build a bridge from Karkraj Parking to Bhookhi Mata Mandir Road for the convenience of the devotees will be prepared and included in the action plan of Simhastha.
During the inspection, the divisional commissioner visited the entire Simhastha fair area and directed the officers of the Public Works Department to prepare an action plan for widening the narrow roads, converting single roads into two-lane roads and two-lane roads into four-lane roads.
These roads will be widened
Divisional commissioner Sanjay Gupta first of all visited Gaughat, Ujdkheda, Mullapura, Mohanpura, Dharambarla, Ramghat, Dutt Akhara, Reti Ghat, Bhookhi Mata, Sadaval, Kartik Mela grounds to Mojamkhedi, Kalbhairav temple, Gadhkalika, Mangalnath temple area etc. and ordered to prepare proposals for works like widening of roads etc.
The roads to these religious places are also being widened
The Divisional Commissioner directed to prepare a proposal for widening the road going to Mangalnath from Bhairavgarh-Agar Road. Along with this, he directed to prepare an action plan for widening the road going to Bhookhi Mata from Kartik Mela area behind Dutt Akhara and straightening the roads which have many turns. The Divisional Commissioner also reviewed the darshan arrangements of Kalbhairav Temple.
