Udaipur is facing havoc due to extreme heat and heat wave, doctors’ leave cancelled, Maharana Bhupal Hospital on alert

Rajasthan Weather Update: The scorching heat continues to wreak havoc in Rajasthan. The temperature of many cities has reached above 45 degrees. In view of the scorching sun and heat, orders are being issued by the administration of different districts. The Udaipur administration has given a big relief to the workers working in the MNREGA scheme.

Now MNREGA workers will have to work from 5.30 am to 12.30 pm. District Council CEO Kirti Rathore said that as per the departmental guidelines, in view of the intense heat, the working arrangement for MNREGA workers will remain effective till July 15.

Keeping the heat in mind, the timing of the cleaning staff in Udaipur has also changed. Now the two shifts in a day have been changed. Now the cleaning staff will work in one shift from 5 am to 10 am. On normal days, cleaning work was also done from 2 pm to 5 pm. Workers working in factories have also been given concessions. The health department has also made preparations to combat the heat. The number of patients is constantly increasing in the division’s largest Maharana Bhupal Hospital.

Doctors were called back from their holidays

In such a situation, the hospital management has made separate arrangements for the patients to be admitted. Superintendent of Maharana Bhupal Hospital, Dr. RL Suman said that beds have been reserved in different wards. The control room is providing service 24 hours. Additional coolers have been arranged in the wards. An order has been issued to cancel the leave of all doctors and report for duty.

In the midst of scorching heat, unannounced power cuts have added to the troubles of the people. In many areas, the power is cut for 4 to 6 hours. Unfortunately, the power supply in the city remains disrupted for 2 hours.
