Counter attack on Abhishek Banerjee’s vote division statement
Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Abhishek Banerjee had on Wednesday alleged that the Protem Speaker did not allow division of votes in the Lok Sabha Speaker’s election. Suvendu Adhikari also slammed TMC over this. Adhikari claimed, “Five TMC MPs were not present in the House during this time. If you want, you can ask for the attendance register. Everything will be revealed through this.” The BJP leader said, “Everyone saw it clearly that when the Protem Speaker was talking about voice vote, Rahul Gandhi and the opposition leaders should have themselves said that they wanted division of votes.”
