Bharatiya Janata Party leader Suvendu Adhikari in West Bengal has once again targeted the Trinamool Congress (TMC). Adhikari has claimed that the West Bengal government is conspiring to remove Hindus and settle Rohingyas in the state.

What did Suvendu Adhikari say?

BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari said that TMC is trying to settle Rohingyas in the state and is trying to remove Hindus. Suvendu Adhikari also claimed that TMC is trying to change the demography in West Bengal.

Counter attack on Abhishek Banerjee’s vote division statement

Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Abhishek Banerjee had on Wednesday alleged that the Protem Speaker did not allow division of votes in the Lok Sabha Speaker’s election. Suvendu Adhikari also slammed TMC over this. Adhikari claimed, “Five TMC MPs were not present in the House during this time. If you want, you can ask for the attendance register. Everything will be revealed through this.” The BJP leader said, “Everyone saw it clearly that when the Protem Speaker was talking about voice vote, Rahul Gandhi and the opposition leaders should have themselves said that they wanted division of votes.”

Abhishek Banerjee, while talking to reporters outside Parliament, had said that according to the rules, division of votes should be allowed even if demanded by one member. In response to this, Suvendu Adhikari says that not a single TMC MP was present in the House and Abhishek Banerjee should be questioned about this.
