Tiger Attack: A tiger attacked a child in Chanpatia of Bettiah late on Wednesday night in which the child was seriously injured. He was brought to Chanpatia Primary Health Center for treatment. At the health center, the doctors gave him first aid and referred him to Bettiah GMCH for better treatment. The incident is of Karnapatti Ward No. 10 of Chanpatia police station area. It is being told that the tiger attacked a nine-year-old child, but the child’s life was saved by the crowd of villagers on hearing the child’s scream. The child was badly injured due to the tiger attack.

The injured child has been identified as Suraj Kumar, 9-year-old son of Nandlal Yadav, a resident of Karnapatti in Chanpatia police station area. At the same time, the entire village is in panic due to the tiger attack. The forest department team has been engaged in rescue operations in this village for about 24 hours, but the tiger has not been caught yet.

The forest department team is busy searching

Let us tell you that on Wednesday morning, the forest department team reached Puraina village of Chanpatia on the information of a tiger. The team tracked the tiger. To rescue the tiger, the village has been surrounded with nets from all sides. The rescue operation went on the whole day, but the tiger could not be found anywhere and in the evening the tiger changed its location and reached another village and at night the tiger attacked a child.

Nine-year-old Suraj Kumar was seriously injured in a tiger attack. The injured’s family said that the child came out to the bathroom after studying at night and was attacked by a tiger. On hearing the child’s screams, his uncle ran with a stick and hit the tiger 1-2 times. Then the tiger pounced on him too but he too narrowly escaped. After this all the villagers gathered. The tiger ran away into the sugarcane field.

DFO said- some other animal has attacked

Meanwhile, DFO of the Forest Department Pradyumna Gaurav says that the injured child was not killed by a tiger. Some other animal must have killed him. He said that the tiger has gone away from the village via the river. Tracking is being done on the basis of footprints. At present, the tiger is moving away from the village towards the forest via the river, but the villagers there clearly say that the child has been killed by a tiger. Everyone has seen the tiger at the door.
