A tragic incident took place on Monday in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. On Monday afternoon around 4 o’clock, an 11000 volt electric wire broke and fell on a bike on the Sitapur branch canal track in the Hyderabad police station area. Due to this, a teenager, two children and two women got burnt due to the fire and electric current in the bike. Three people including a child died in the accident.
Among the dead were two siblings. A child and a woman have suffered severe burn injuries. Both have been sent to Gola CHC. After receiving the information, SDM and CO along with electricity corporation officials reached the spot. It is said that the bike also caught fire due to the falling of the wire. The accident was so gruesome that the bodies of the deceased were badly burnt. The bike also got completely burnt.
