Thousands of followers reached the ashram in Bichwan town on Sunday on the birthday of Saakar Hari. The police, already alert for the security of the ashram, stopped everyone at the barrier. No one was allowed to go inside the ashram. After being stopped, the followers bowed down near the barrier.
The police took precautions and did not allow the crowd of followers to gather. After the Hathras incident, the followers have been continuously coming to the ashram of Saakar Vishwa Hari in the town. The police administration was already alert on the birthday of Saakar Hari on Sunday.
Security was tightened around the ashram. The number of personnel was also increased. From Sunday morning itself, followers started arriving at the ashram in vehicles. As soon as they started moving towards the ashram, the police stopped them at the barrier itself.
The followers were saying that they have come to the ashram to have darshan of Baba. The police said that there is no one in the ashram, so they should go back. Even after the police explained, many followers were not ready to budge. They started bowing down near the barrier and shouting slogans. Then the police station in-charge Avneesh Tyagi explained to the people and asked them to leave from there.
