In this accident, 335 out of 396 passengers of Pan Pan died.

Plane collided with mountain, 520 people died
The world’s second biggest accident happened on 12 August 1985, about 100 km away from Tokyo. In this accident, Japan Airlines Flight 123 took off from Tokyo to Osaka. About 32 minutes after takeoff, the plane collided with Takamagahara Mountain. In this accident, 520 people on board the plane died, including 509 passengers and 15 flight crew members. This plane crash is the biggest accident till date, in which the most number of passengers of a plane lost their lives.

Two planes collided in the air, 349 people died
The world’s third biggest plane crash happened in Charkhi Dadri, Delhi. In this accident that happened on 12 November 1996, Kazakhstan Airlines flight 1907 coming from Chimkent to Delhi and Saudi Airlines flight 763 going from Delhi to Dhahran collided with each other. 349 people died in this accident. This air crash is one of the most dangerous accidents that happen in the air. Not a single passenger on board the plane survived in this accident.

A plane crashed in a forest near Paris, killing 346 people
The world’s fourth biggest accident is related to Turkish Airlines. Turkish Airlines Flight 981 took off from Orly Airport for London. Shortly after takeoff, the cargo gate of the plane got separated from the plane, which caused a huge explosion. After this, the upper floor of the plane collapsed. After some time, the plane dived and crashed in a forest located north-east of Paris. All 346 passengers on board the plane died in this accident.

Air India plane crashes in Ireland, 329 people died
The world’s biggest accident is related to India’s Air India. On 23 June 1985, Air India Flight 182 took off from Toronto. This flight was to reach Delhi via Montreal and London. Near the south-west coast of Ireland, a huge explosion suddenly occurred in the cargo of the plane and the plane crashed. In this accident, all 307 passengers and 22 crew members on board the plane died.
