The government has also given relief in this. The government has removed it from the category of cosmetic surgery and has also included it in the Ayushman Bharat scheme. There are about 30 plastic surgeons in the city, who are doing almost all the procedures in Indore itself. Those surgeons shared their experience of plastic surgery in the changing times.

People are coming from abroad for treatment
Plastic, reconstructive aesthetic surgeon Dr. Sumit Jaiswal says that now the trend of gender change surgery is increasing. Most surgeries are being done in Indore. That is why Indore is number 2 in the country. Every month 30 to 35 people are coming to get gender change. People are coming to Indore not only from the country but also from Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Dubai, European countries. Now the government has also approved this procedure in the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Which has also given them relief in expenses. Now is the selfie era. Due to this, the youth are paying attention to the face. They are getting the jaw-line corrected for the photo angle.

Trends in Lymphoplasy Treatment
Dr. Sachin Verma, head of MYH plastic surgery department, says that dimple creation surgery and gynecomastia case operations are being done in MYH itself. Upper lid and lower lid are being done for the eyes. This is called lymphoplasia. Eyebrows are being lifted, which gives a young look. Even lip augmentation is being done. In Indore, 5 to 6 plastic surgeons are doing only cancer reconstructive surgery. Plastic surgeons are the ones who repair hand or finger cuts in an accident, injury marks on the face.
