Ganesh Utsav is being celebrated all over the country and people who had invited Bappa to their homes are now immersing him. On this occasion, many people gift gold and silver jewellery to Lord Ganesha and adorn him. But many times people forget to remove the jewellery offered to the Lord at the time of immersion. Then many people dive into the water (Gold Chain Immersed with Ganesh idol) and collect those jewellery and sell them. A family from Bengaluru did the same. They offered a gold chain to the Lord, but forgot to remove it at the time of immersion. After that, the family kept searching for it for 10 hours. With great difficulty, their luck shone and the jewellery came into their hands.
According to the Times of India report, this incident took place near Dasarahalli Circle in Vijayanagar, Bengaluru (Bengaluru couple forget gold chain immerse in water). Teacher couple Ramaiya and Uma Devi had installed the idol of Ganpati in their house on the occasion of Ganesh Utsav. They had decorated the idol with flowers and jewellery. They had also offered a gold chain of 60 grams, worth about Rs 4 lakh, to the Lord. Last Saturday night, they reached a mobile tank to immerse the Lord. After immersion, they realized that they had forgotten to remove the gold chain.

Then what, after about 1 hour they reached the immersion site again. Some youths who were immersing the idol were present there near the mobile tank. They had seen the chain but at that time they thought that the chain was fake. Immediately the couple contacted the Magadi Road Police Station and Govindrajnagar MLA Priya Krishna and asked for help from them.
Got chain with great difficulty
The MLA spoke to Lankesh D, the contractor who had set up the tank. The boys present near the tank kept searching for the chain for some time but they could not find it at that time. But when the family got permission, they removed 10 thousand liters of water from the tank. The soil of the remaining idols was mixed in the tank. They kept searching for the chain till 1 o’clock the next day and then they found the chain, which was returned to the couple. About 10 people together searched for the chain.
