aap exotic vegetable Button Mushroom Can cultivate. Nowadays, the number of amateur chefs who learn recipes from YouTube has also increased, due to which the demand for button mushroom has increased. Button mushroom is a species which is rich in minerals and vitamins. Mushrooms are becoming popular because of their health benefits. Its price in the market is Rs 300 to Rs 350 per kg and the wholesale rate is about 40% less than this. Due to the good price of button mushroom farming, many farmers have left traditional farming and started growing mushrooms.

It will start in Rs 50 thousand- Button mushroom can be cultivated by making compost. One and a half kilo seeds are required for one quintal of compost.

By making 4 to 5 quintals of compost, about 2000 kg of mushrooms are produced. Now, if 2000 kg mushrooms are sold at Rs 150 per kg, then you get around Rs 3 lakh.

If 50 thousand rupees are taken out as cost from this, 2.5 lakh rupees are still saved, although its cost is less than 50 thousand. 10 kg mushroom can be easily grown per square metre.

This is the method of farming- Mushrooms can be grown by making three three feet wide racks in a space of at least 40 by 30 feet.

To make compost, soak paddy straw and after a day add DAP, urea, potash, wheat bran, gypsum, calcium and carbo furadon to it and leave it to rot.

Compost is ready after about 45 days. Now mix cow dung and soil in equal quantities and spread a layer about one and a half inches thick and then apply two to three inches thick layer of compost on top.

To maintain moisture in it, spray the mushrooms with a spray two to three times a day and apply a two-inch thick layer of compost on top of it.

You can take training from here- Training in mushroom cultivation is given in all agricultural universities and agricultural research centres. If you are planning to do farming on this large scale, then it would be better to take proper training once.
