The government school located in Kalakhet ground in Balaganj area of ​​the city is far from the eyes of the government. The students have to bear the brunt of this. Due to excessive rain during the rainy season, the problem of waterlogging on the ground is increasing year after year, due to which it becomes difficult for the school students and the teachers who teach here to come. Therefore, when it rains, the children have to remain deprived of education.

The blueprint for building a mini stadium on Kalakhet ground was prepared in the year 2000 and the ground breaking ceremony of the stadium was done in the year 2002. At that time, the then Chief Minister himself came to Mandsaur and laid the foundation stone of the mini stadium. Even after 21 years have passed from 2002 to 2023, the dream of building a mini stadium on Kalakhet ground has not been fulfilled. Actually, a plan was made to improve the ground and build hockey and basketball courts here. At that time, due to some reason, the work of building the stadium could not start, which is still hanging in the balance.

There is a holiday for 1 month during rains
When the District Education Department official was discussed in this regard, he said that the school management itself tries to deal with the situation of mud and waterlogging so that the children do not have to face any kind of problem. According to the latest information, the municipality has been made the agency for the construction of the mini stadium. Questions have been raised many times in the assembly regarding this, but still the file of the mini stadium is stuck. When the Municipal Corporation CMO was discussed in this regard, he said that the proposal is pending in Bhopal and no reply has come from the government.
