Bharatpur. Nagla Bhand village of Bharatpur district is still maintaining its ancient civilization. There are many specialties of this village. That is, there are cots weighing 300 kg in this village. 8 people can sleep together on these. The second specialty is that only one family has settled in this village. This family owns 125 houses in the village.
Villagers told that the ancestral village of our ancestor Chande Kasana was Rarauda in Bayana tehsil. There he was considered the head of the canal area. Chande Kasana was a just person. The court used to run in his name.
300 kg cot
The family of the chief further says that Chande Kasana had always worked for people to live in mutual brotherhood and eliminate opposition. Chande Kasana came to Gram Panchayat Salabad from Rarauda with his sons about 70 years ago. Here he established his own separate village Nagla Bhand. Chande Kasana had 6 sons. While dividing, he gave 6 cots (cots) made in 1920 as gifts to his sons. These cots are still there. Their weight is around 300 kg

This cot is so big that 7 to 8 people can sleep comfortably on it simultaneously. Its strength remains intact even today. Even today there are six cots present in the village which remind the memories of their ancestors. The villagers have taken great care of these cots. Today 125 families of those same 6 sons are present in the village. Even today there is mutual brotherhood in the village. Village people say that now such heavy cots are rarely seen. People from nearby areas come to see these cots.
