The West Indies storm changed the fortunes of 3 players, they were suddenly included in the Indian team, Sanju-Shivam-Yashasvi were out

New Delhi. After winning the T20 World Cup, the Indian cricket team has been caught in a storm in the West Indies. The stars of Team India, led by captain Rohit Sharma, have been stranded in a hotel in Barbados since June 29. The situation has become such that due to this storm alone, the BCCI has had to make changes in the team announced for the India-Zimbabwe series. Now 3 new names have been added to the team going to Zimbabwe.

The BCCI has made 3 changes in the team announced for the Zimbabwe tour on Tuesday. Jitesh Sharma, Harshat Rana and Sai Sudarshan have been included in this team led by Shubman Gill. These three players will replace Sanju Samson, Shivam Dubey and Yashasvi Jaiswal in the team. Sanju Samson, Shivam Dubey and Yashasvi Jaiswal are currently with the World Cup winning team in Barbados. Rinku Singh and Khalil Ahmed are also with the T20 World Cup winning Indian team. However, the BCCI has not announced any replacement for these two.

It cannot be said with certainty as to when Sanju Samson, Shivam Dubey and Yashasvi Jaiswal will return home. On their return to India, the world champion team will also have to attend some felicitation ceremonies. It is believed that this may delay the departure of Sanju Samson, Shivam Dubey and Yashasvi Jaiswal on the Zimbabwe tour. That is why the BCCI has already included three new players in the team.

Jitesh Sharma, Harshat Rana and Sai Sudarshan have been included in the Indian team only for the first two T20 matches against Zimbabwe. The first two T20 matches between India and Zimbabwe are to be played on 6th and 7th July.

Indian Team (for first 2 matches): Shubman Gill (captain), Rituraj Gaikwad, Abhishek Sharma, Rinku Singh, Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan, Khalil Ahmed, Mukesh Kumar, Tushar Deshpande, Jitesh Sharma, Harshat Rana and Sai Sudarshan.
