What did the Chief Minister say about the film?
CM Vishnudev Sai posted on X and wrote that our government has decided to make the film “The Sabarmati Report” tax free in Chhattisgarh. This film is a very commendable and impressive attempt to expose the horrific truth of history which was tried to be hidden for vested interests. This film exposes the truth of the then system, which made a condemnable attempt to suppress the truth by spreading false narratives. The film presents the painful incident with sensitivity. This film should also be watched because only the study of the past can give us better guidance about the present and future.
Congress attacked on making the film tax free
Congress has started protesting against making the film “The Sabarmati Report” tax free in Chhattisgarh. Congress chief spokesperson Sushil Anand Shukla said that the truth of history cannot be hidden by making a picture, it cannot be falsified. The whole country knows what happened in Godhra and who was behind the Godhra incident. To whom did the then Prime Minister tell about Rajdharma? The country also knows this
He said that now by giving tax exemption through Sabarmati Picture, the Bharatiya Janata Party government has looted the hard-earned money of the people of Chhattisgarh. If tax money comes then the state gets developed. The tax received by the state leads to development of the state. The public has the right in this, it is wrong to make tax free in this way to enhance the image of any particular leader.
