The minister performed the ritual of arrest
Actually, the objective of this scheme is to marry the daughters of poor and rich families and to tie them together for life. Under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivaah Yojana, the Madhya Pradesh government organized a mass marriage of about 1971 bride and groom couples in Tendukheda Krishi Upaj Mandi. During this, Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi along with his wife performed the ritual of holding the feet of the brides as per Indian culture and Hindu customs.
After the seven, the eighth vow was also taken
During this mass marriage program, there was only one stage but its objectives were two. The first was to not only bind the bride and groom’s side together but also to give each of them a fruit tree, which each couple pledged to take care of. As the chief guest of this program, Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, a minister in the state government, said that we should not forget our culture, that is why I, along with my wife, washed the feet of the newly married couples.
