Many companies are planning to use humanoid robots to reduce labor shortage and perform repetitive or dangerous tasks. These include companies related to retail, manufacturing, logistics and warehousing.

Musk told investors in a conference call that he estimated that Tesla The robot, called Optimus, will be able to work in the factory by the end of this year.
