A source close to the investigation told AFP that the attacks included “sabotage”. “This is a large-scale attack designed to paralyse the TGV network,” SNCF told AFP. They said trains on several routes had been cancelled. “SNCF was the victim of several malicious acts overnight,” the national rail operator said. They said the Atlantic, Northern and Eastern lines were affected by the attacks.
It will take time for the train to start operating again

8 lakh passengers affected
The statement said that the South-Eastern line is not affected as of now because the attacks in these areas have been foiled. SNCF has appealed to the passengers to postpone their journeys and stay away from the railway stations. It is being told that 8 lakh passengers have been affected by this attack.
Transport Minister condemned
Eurostar also said that its rail services between London and Paris have been disrupted by the vandalism. Due to this, many trains have been cancelled and many trains are delayed. Transport Minister Patrice Vergriete has condemned these incidents in a post on X, calling them criminal.
