Team India left with the World Cup trophy, captain Rohit Sharma posted a picture

New Delhi. The ICC T20 World Cup winning Indian team has left for India with the trophy. Team India was stuck in Barbados for the last three days due to cyclone storm. BCCI has arranged a special charter plane through which the Indian media team is also returning with Team India. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah had decided that he would return with the media colleagues along with the Indian players.

Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, the Indian team won the ICC T20 World Cup title by defeating South Africa in the final. The final match of the tournament was played on Saturday, June 29. Due to bad weather in Barbados, it was decided to stop flights. The entire Indian team was waiting in the hotel room for the last three days to return to India. Captain Rohit Sharma shared a picture with the trophy on his social media account and gave the good news of return to the fans.
