If we look at the figures of high-end TV shipments, there has been an increase of 44% year on year in the second quarter of the year. While profits have increased by 28%. Shipments of OLED TVs have increased by an average of 21%. Whereas the revenue has increased only by 5%. The Mini LED TV market has gone much further here. Shipments of Mini LED TV have increased by 68%. At the same time, revenue has increased by 60%. This shows that the global TV market has seen a big shift in the second quarter.

Chinese companies seem to be dominating here, with TCL and Hisense at the top. Shipments of TCL’s high-end TVs have increased by 78% on year on year basis. The company’s profit has increased by 81 percent. Xiaomi has also overtaken Sony. Xiaomi has now come to 5th position in this segment. TCL has pushed Samsung to second place in terms of Mini LED shipments, which had remained on top for the last three years. Samsung’s mini LED shipments declined by 23%.
