T20I Records: If Babar scores a fifty then Virat’s biggest record will be broken, a big explosion can happen today

New Delhi. Babar Azam is targeting a big record of Virat Kohli. The record of scoring the most runs in T20 International matches. Babar can break this record of Kohli if he scores a fifty today (30 May). A T20 match is to be played between Pakistan and England on Thursday. Pakistan is trailing 0-1 in the 4 match series. This is the last T20 match of both the teams before the T20 World Cup.

Virat Kohli has scored 4037 runs in 117 T20 International matches. He is the only player in the world who has scored more than 4000 runs in this format of cricket. There is every possibility that Babar Azam will also join Virat in this elite club on Thursday. There is another interesting similarity between Virat and Babar. Both cricketers have a highest score of 122 in the T20 International format.

Babar Azam has scored 3987 runs in 118 T20 International matches. That means he is 50 runs behind Kohli. This means that as soon as he scores a fifty, he will equal Kohli. Whereas Babar needs 51 runs to break Virat’s record.

Rohit Sharma is also not far behind in terms of most T20 International runs. He has scored 3974 runs in 151 matches and is third in the list of most T20 International runs. There is so little difference between Virat, Babar and Rohit that an interesting battle can be seen between these three in the World Cup starting from June 1.
