Fans are very excited about the upcoming T20 World Cup. This is the biggest T20 World Cup ever and 20 teams are participating in it. England is the defending champion and will be led by Jos Buttler. The final of this tournament, co-hosted by West Indies and America, will be played on June 29. During this, 55 matches will be played at a total of nine venues. Of these, three grounds in America and six grounds in West Indies have been selected for hosting. Team India, led by Rohit Sharma, will start its campaign with a match against Ireland on June 5. After this, the team will play against Pakistan on June 9 and America on June 12.
All three matches will be played at Nassau County Cricket Stadium in New York. On June 15, Team India will play against Canada. The Indian team will come out to end the 11-year ICC trophy drought. Team India last won the T20 World Cup in 2007 and reached the final in 2014. Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the captain of Team India on both these occasions.
