New Delhi.India has created history by winning the T20 World Cup 2024. Team India won this trophy for the second time by defeating South Africa by 7 runs in the final. India snatched victory from the jaws of South Africa in a thrilling final. Team India had earlier managed to win the T20 World Cup in the year 2007.

At one point in Barbados’ Kensington Oval, the Indian team was looking in trouble. South Africa needed 16 runs in the last over to win. The dangerous David Miller was at the crease who had the ability to turn the match on his own. But Hardik trapped Miller on the very first ball of the last over. Suryakumar Yadav took a brilliant catch of Miller on Pandya’s ball near the boundary, almost ensuring India’s victory.

On the second ball of this over, Rabada hit a four and raised the heartbeat of the Indian team. On the third ball, a run bye was scored while on the fourth ball, Maharaj ran for a run bye. The next ball was wide while on the fifth ball, Pandya sent Rabada to the pavilion. On the sixth and last ball, Norkia took a run and India ended the 11-year ICC trophy drought.
