Praising his bowlers who bowled out Afghanistan for 56 runs, Markram said, “We bowled brilliantly. We bowled in the right places. The bowlers have performed brilliantly throughout the tournament.” South Africa had bowled out the entire Afghanistan team in just 71 balls.

Aiden Markram said, ‘It was challenging to bat in these conditions. It was good to lose the toss. Luck favoured us as we were able to maintain a partnership. Those who were watching the match in South Africa early in the morning must have held their breath. Thankfully, we managed to win.’
