Sukma Naxal attack: Two CRPF jawans martyred in an IED blast carried out by Naxalites

Sukma News: An IED blast has been carried out by Naxalites in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. Naxalites have carried out an IED blast in Silger area amidst the movement of soldiers. Naxalites targeted the soldiers’ truck and carried out the blast. Two CRPF soldiers have been martyred in this incident while many soldiers are reported to be injured. Sukma SP Kiran Chavan has confirmed the incident.

SP Kiran Chavan said that the advance party of 201 Cobra Corps was going to Camp Tekalgudem from Camp Silger under Jagargunda area during ROP duty. This convoy included a truck and a motorcycle. On the way from Camp Silger to Tekalgudem, the Naxalites had planted an IED with the intention of harming the security forces.

Truck driver and co-driver hit by IED
Chavan said that during the movement of security forces today (23 June) at around 3 pm, a truck of 201 Cobra Corps came under the grip of IED. In which a truck driver and co-driver soldier were martyred on the spot. All other soldiers are safe. The names of the martyred soldiers are being told as Vishnu R and Shailendra. The bodies of the martyred soldiers are being removed from the spot.

Fake notes have been recovered in Sukma
Let us tell you that today itself, the police, CRPF and DRG team have recovered fake notes and printer machines from the forests of Sukma. Apart from this, weapons have also been seized. It is being told that the Naxalites were circulating fake notes in the market by deceiving the villagers. The search operation was conducted in Koraguda area of ​​Sukma which is a highly Naxal-affected area. During the raid, fake notes of 100, 200 and 500 and a printer machine were also found.
