Himachal Pradesh News: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has made a big promise to the people of Dehra. While campaigning for his wife Kamlesh Thakur in the Dehra by-election, the Chief Minister said that he understands the problems of the Pong Dam displaced people very well. The Chief Minister said that at present the model code of conduct is in force. In such a situation, he cannot make any big announcement, but in the coming time, if there is a need to change the law for the Pong Dam displaced people, then he will definitely change the law.
Hoshiar Singh accused of being sold in the political market
During the election campaign, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu also strongly criticized BJP candidate Hoshiar Singh. He said that people had elected him as an independent MLA for the second time for five years. He could have got work done from whichever government came. The people of Dehra should ask Hoshiar that he was neither from Congress nor BJP, then what problem arose that he resigned. If the Congress government was not working, he should have sat in the opposition with BJP. What was the need to impose by-elections? He would have been getting MLA fund and discretionary fund, he would have done public work with that.
CM Sukhu said that the former Azad MLA has sold his MLA post for his own political gains and to weaken democracy. He got sold in the BJP’s political market only 14 months after becoming an MLA for the second time.
‘Hoshiyar Singh sat on dharna for his own benefit’
CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu further said that Hoshiar Singh should tell whether he ever sat on a dharna for the people of Dehra and the Central University. He sat on a dharna outside the Vidhan Sabha only for his own selfishness. Hoshiar Singh bought the lotus for which honest BJP workers sweated. Hoshiar Singh has stopped the development of Dehra. If the former MLA spends Rs 15 crore per month, then why did he not get the area developed. The Chief Minister said that Hoshiar Singh and the Bharatiya Janata Party are responsible for the unnecessary and untimely by-elections being held in Dehra.
