Strange demand of a person from Nalanda, he told Baba Bageshwar’s guru as his father.

Nalanda Sohrai Mistry, resident of , has made a shocking claim. According to Mistry, the guru of Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham is his father. Sohrai tells that about 30 years ago his father left his family life and became a forest dweller. Last March, his wife saw her father-in-law during a satsang program on TV and then started screaming loudly. Everyone in the house gathered and others also recognized him.

Father left home thirty years ago
Sohrai Mistry is a resident of Pahitiya village of Rajgir block of Nalanda. His father Ramlal Das first worked as a carpenter and later became a monk. Sohrai said in a special conversation with Local 18 that when he was 4 years old, his mother passed away. He was brought up by his father, but after his marriage at the age of 15 and having four children, Ramlal Das left home one day for the Purnima fair and never returned.

The family was surprised to see the father on TV
Sohrai Mistry’s wife Sharda Devi saw Ramlal Das in a satsang program on TV and the family immediately recognized him. Sohrai and his wife showed his father’s bank passbook, which showed a similarity between the picture on the passbook and the picture seen on TV. Sohrai also expressed his desire to undergo a DNA test so that he could fully prove this claim.

The family reached Bageshwar Dham
After seeing his father on TV, Sohrai Mistry and his family reached Bageshwar Dham, but were told that his father had just left. The family returned disappointed. Meanwhile, a saint associated with Bageshwar Dham said that he has a deep connection with Nalanda, which further strengthened Sohrai’s claim.

The bank passbook shown by Sohrai Mistry is from 1990 and Rs 58,575 are deposited in it. He said that he never went to the bank for this money, because his aim was only to get his father back.

Sohrai’s father was once injured by dacoits, due to which he has a knife mark in his stomach. Sohrai claims that this mark will help in identifying his father. Till date, he has not performed Shraddha or rituals of his father, because he has hope that his father will return. Sohrai Mistry and his family are now preparing to go to Gaya. He says that he is ready to find his father at any cost.
