Two youths were injured in stone pelting after a quarrel between two groups during the Ghorchadhi ceremony of a youth belonging to the Scheduled Caste in Madhkarimpur village of Khatauli area of ​​Muzaffarnagar. The police have registered a case against eight named and eight unknown people of the Rajput community.

Amrit Kumar, a Scheduled Caste resident of village Madhkarimpur, was having his Ghudchadhi on Monday morning. Before the departure of the baraat, the groom and his family were going for deity worship. During this time, there was an altercation between the youth of Scheduled Caste and Rajput community over some issue. After this, there was a fight and stone pelting, in which the groom’s brother Ajay got injured.

At the same time, Happy Rana from the other side has also been injured. On receiving information about stone pelting and fighting between the two sides, CO Ram Ashish Yadav reached the village with Mansoorpur and Khatauli police. The CO handled the situation by convincing the people of both the sides.

The police got the groom’s brother Ajay treated at the CHC. In this case, on the complaint of Ravindra, the police have detained Happy Rana and Vansh from one side. There is tension between both the sides in the village. The plaintiff Ravindra says that some youths of the Rajput community opposed the procession on a mare. Apart from this, casteist words were also used against him. After this, a fight broke out after an altercation. Happy Rana, who was injured in the fight, says that his grandmother is a heart patient. She had asked to lower the volume of the DJ, due to which the fight took place. The other allegations being made are baseless.

CO Ram Ashish Yadav said that a case has been registered against 8 named and 7-8 unknown people under various sections including SC ST Act. A team has been formed and raids are being conducted to arrest the accused. There is peace in the village. Police force has been deployed as a precaution.
