UP Politics: Politics has heated up over the objectionable statement given by BJP MLA from Loni seat of Ghaziabad, Nand Kishore Gurjar, regarding the dargahs. Samajwadi Party’s Bilari MLA Mohammad Faheem Irfan hit back at his statement and called it a destroyer of harmony in the society. He said that this country has Ganga-Jamuni culture. We should respect everyone’s religion.

SP MLA Faheem Irfan, while replying to Nand Kishore Gurjar, said that this is a very wrong statement and is going to spoil the harmony in the society. Punitive action should be taken against the BJP MLA. We will complain about the BJP MLA to the Assembly Speaker in this matter. Our country is a country of Ganga-Jamuni culture and no one’s religion should be insulted.

SP MLA replied
Faheem Irfan said – BJP MLA has spoken very badly. People of all religions and sects go to the Dargahs with their own wishes and the pious servants of Allah. People’s wishes are fulfilled through prayers. Everyone respects Sufi saints. We will not tolerate this kind of talk about them at all. Film stars also visit Dargahs in large numbers. BJP MLAs are saying such bad things for their politics.

He said that this is a matter that breaks our hearts. The BJP MLA probably does not know that there is a mixed culture in our country. Despite being Mohammad Faheem Irfan, I am invited to Hindu religious programs on the occasions of Ramayana recitation and Shri Krishna Janmashtami in my area and I am respected there. I agree with you, it is the culture of our country to respect each other’s religion.

The SP MLA said that Hindus and Muslims had fought together for the independence of the country. Only then did our country become independent. Talking like this does not suit a BJP MLA, he is a member of the Legislative Assembly. By making such statements, he is breaking people’s hearts and spoiling the country’s peace and Sanskrit harmony. The BJP MLA probably has not even read his religious texts. If he had read Ramayana and Ramcharitmanas, he would not have given such statements.

Let us tell you that BJP MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar had forbidden Hindus from going to Dargahs. He said that Hindus should not visit Dargahs or tombs because Jihadis are buried there. They tortured women and forced them to commit Jauhar. There is nothing more unfortunate than if a Hindu goes there and beats his head.
