Environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk and 150 citizens of Ladakh have been detained again after they were released by Delhi Police late on Tuesday night. He, Wangchuk and some others have been kept in Bawana police station. Apart from this, other people have been kept in different police stations. Their indefinite fast continues at police stations. A Delhi Police officer has given this information.
A senior police officer told PTI that Wangchuk and other detained Ladakhis were allowed to leave on Tuesday night, but they were adamant on marching towards the central part of Delhi, so they were detained again. Went.
Wangchuk has been kept at Bawana police station along with some others, while others have been kept at Narela Industrial Area, Alipur and Kanjhawala police stations, he said.
Let us tell you that these people were entering Delhi to protest at many places including Jantar Mantar and Rajghat in Delhi to give special status to the Union Territory of Ladakh. He was taken into custody late Monday night. After which he was released late on Tuesday night.
