Son-in-law killed his father-in-law because he did not give money for his wife’s treatment, police registered an FIR

UP News: In Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad, a son-in-law did not treat his wife properly at the time of delivery and when her condition worsened and her father got her treated, the father-in-law did not pay the hospital bill after she was discharged after recovery, so the son-in-law along with his brothers beat his father-in-law to death. In this case, the police have registered a case and started investigation.   

Tayyaba’s wife Rafi’s daughter was admitted to Rubiya Hospital in Thana Kanth area of ​​Moradabad on 19th June by her father Badlu due to bleeding after delivery. After being discharged from the hospital, son in law Rafi along with his brothers attacked his in-laws with sticks in the hospital premises to pay the bill. In which Tayyaba’s father Badlu son Zahid resident of village Rasoolpur Chauraha Thana Chhajalat got seriously injured. The injured was brought to Moradabad District Hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

On receiving information about the murder, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. The family members informed that the deceased has 7 children, 5 daughters and the deceased had married his fourth daughter Tayyaba to Rafi, a youth resident of Salabakheda, in the year 2021. The family members allege that the deceased’s son-in-law Rafi had been harassing the deceased’s daughter Tayyaba for dowry since a few months after the marriage.

The deceased had tried to pacify the matter by convincing his daughter and son-in-law many times. Then, after Tayyaba’s delivery 5 days ago, she suddenly started bleeding profusely on Wednesday night. She was admitted to Rubia Hospital in Thana Kanth area. On Thursday night, after Tayyaba was discharged, when the deceased asked her to pay the hospital bill, son-in-law Rafi, along with his two brothers Shafi and Arif, attacked Badlu and his two sons and daughter with sticks in the hospital premises itself. Badlu died in this.

There is chaos in the family due to Badlu’s death, the police have registered a case of murder against the son-in-law and his companions. The Inspector in charge of Kanth police station said that a case of murder has been registered on the complaint of the victim’s family. The matter is being investigated, further legal action will be taken on the basis of post-mortem report and evidence.
