The Pakistani man said that we are begging before Saudi Arabia for one billion dollars, while Pakistanis have hundreds of billions of dollars abroad. The man said that until Pakistan’s money deposited abroad is not brought back, the condition of Pakistan cannot improve. Nawaz Sharif used to call the former prime ministers beggars and today his brother is begging from the whole world. The man said that to improve the condition of Pakistan, Pakistan’s money deposited abroad should be brought back.
How many government companies does Pakistan have?
In fact, the government of Pakistan has already announced that all the government companies of the country will be privatized, whether they are in loss or profit. Shahbaz Sharif has said that ‘the job of the government is not to do business, the job of the government is to provide a better environment in the country for business and investment’. According to Pakistani media, the government of Pakistan will retain only those companies which are strategically important. According to the Finance Ministry of Pakistan, Pakistan has a total of 88 government companies.
