Shrikant Pangarkar joins Shiv Sena
According to PTI report, Shiv Sena had not given him ticket in 2011 due to which he had joined Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. Now he joined the Shinde-led Shiv Sena on Friday in the presence of party leader and former state minister Arjun Khotkar. Pangarkar is a former Shiv Sainik and has returned to the party.
What responsibility did Shrikant Pangarkar get?
Speaking to the media, Arjun Khotkar said, “He has been named as the head of the Jalna assembly election campaign. Khotkar also said that he wants to contest the assembly elections from Jalna, but discussions on seat sharing in the Mahayuti (Shiv Sena, BJP and Ajit Pawar-led NCP alliance) are still going on. This seat is held by Kailash Gorantyal of Congress.
When are the assembly elections in Maharashtra?
Let us tell you that the programs for the assembly elections in Maharashtra have been announced by the Election Commission. Assembly elections in the state will be held on all 288 seats in a single phase on November 20, while the results will be declared on November 23. The tenure of the current assembly is ending on 26 November.
