Shoaib Akhtar is not happy with the changes happening in cricket, said- Today’s generations…

New Delhi. Many changes are taking place in modern cricket. More T20 leagues are being played now than before. Many cricketers give priority to T20 league rather than the country. Shoaib Akhtar said, ‘Today’s generation is stuck in 2-3 hours of playing. I want this game to be played globally instead of just in some regions.

Pakistan’s Shoaib Akhtar told Hindustan Times, “We have to look at priorities. Players will now have to plan their year according to their national team and league schedule. It is difficult for players to manage their careers because they are playing a lot of T20 cricket.”

Akhtar further said, “But this is the way to move forward. Most fans of cricket are now demanding the shortest format. Today’s generations have reduced the limit of watching cricket to 1-2 hours. As I said, there are priorities that have changed. But I am happy that cricket is progressing rapidly. I want this game to be played globally instead of just in some regions.”

Virat-Jaddu arrived, then why did Rohit Sharma not attend the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony?

Called Virat the better batsman of this century
Akhtar further said, “Virat would have scored the same number of runs in our time as compared to now. As many as he has made so far. But it was not easy to play Wasim Akram in that era. Virat is Virat. He is the great batsman of this century. We cannot compare this period and that period. I want him to score 100 centuries.”

It is a coincidence that Shoaib Akhtar is expressing his wish for Indian star Virat Kohli to score 100 centuries. The same Akhtar has given the taste of golden duck to Sachin Tendulkar, the only batsman in the world to score 100 international centuries. Shoaib Akhtar had clean bowled Sachin Tendulkar on the very first ball in the Kolkata Test.
