Priyanka Chaturvedi on Hemant Soren’s bail: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has got bail from the High Court today (28 June). Hemant Soren, arrested in the land scam case, was arrested by the ED on 31 January. He is expected to come out of jail after the court’s decision. After Hemant Soren got relief, the leaders and workers of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and “India” Alliance have expressed happiness. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi has also reacted.
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi on former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren getting bail in the land scam case said, “ED, Income Tax Department will come to challenge this bail in the Supreme Court. However, this bail shows that ED has no evidence against him. This is how to suppress the voice of the opposition.”

He was arrested on 31 January
On June 13, the court of Justice Rangan Mukhopadhyay of Jharkhand High Court had reserved the decision after the arguments of Hemant Soren’s advocate and ED’s ASG S.P. Raju were completed. In fact, ED had arrested former Chief Minister Hemant Soren on January 31 in the case of fraud of 8.86 acres of land in Bargai region of Ranchi.
After being detained by ED, Hemant Soren had given up the CM post and since then Hemant Soren is in Birsa Munda Central Jail in Ranchi. Now after the court’s decision, the necessary process is being completed for his release from jail. It is being speculated that after the completion of all the procedures, Hemant Soren may be released from jail by tomorrow.
