The Public Works Department will complete this work with the cooperation of Municipal Corporation Shimla. Ducts will be made to lay the wires underground. The work of laying the wires underground is to be done from CTO Chowk in Shimla to Chhota Shimla.

The broadband wires of such private companies are also hanging on the electricity poles.
Surendra Chauhan said that these wires have also been asked to be removed from the poles. All the private companies are removing those wires from the poles which are hanging unnecessarily. This is also spoiling the beauty of Shimla. Mayor Surendra Chauhan said that the private companies have been given some time. It is necessary to remove these wires within the stipulated time.
