Shai Hope’s stormy innings, West Indies’ spectacular win, host team almost out of T20 World Cup

New Delhi. The West Indies team has registered a stunning victory in the do or die match of Super 8 of ICC T20 World Cup. After winning the toss against America, they bowled lethally and bundled out the entire team for just 128 runs. After this, while chasing the target, the team finished the match in an over on the basis of Shai Hope’s stormy innings. With the wicket win, the team has kept its hopes of reaching the semi-finals alive while almost ending America’s journey.

In the second match of Super 8 against America, the West Indies team came with the intention of winning at all costs. After winning the toss, captain Rovman Powell decided to bowl first. On the basis of the excellent bowling of Andre Russell and Roston Chase, the Windies team bowled out America for just 128 runs. Russell took 3 wickets for 31 runs in 3.5 overs while Chase took 3 wickets for 19 runs in 4 overs.
