On the last trading day of the week, the domestic stock market witnessed selling from the upper levels after an initial rise. In early trade, the Sensex strengthened by 200 points. On the other hand, the Nifty crossed 23400. During this period, shares of Ambuja Cements gained 3% while shares of Voda Idea gained 2%. However, selling was seen in the market at the upper levels and the domestic benchmark indices lost their gains. At 9:31 am, the Sensex fell 163.48 (0.21%) points to reach 76,611.05. On the other hand, the Nifty slipped 40.16 (0.17%) points to reach 23,358.75. Reliance and ICICI shares showed the most weakness.
