Sawan Monday 2024: Sawan has started today and today is the first Monday of Sawan. On the first Monday of Sawan, there is a rush of devotees in all the Shivalayas. Major changes have been made in the traffic in Agra for the Kanwar Yatra and the first Monday, police have been deployed at all the Shivalayas, CCTV cameras are being used for monitoring security, senior police officers are visiting and inspecting the security arrangements. The slogans of Bam Bam Bhole are heard in the Kanwar Yatra.

Changes made in the route due to Sawan
People are also coming forward to serve the devotees involved in the Kanwar Yatra. The devotees who are bringing Kanwar are being served. Also, there is a flood of devotees in the Shivalaya. Due to the Kanwar Yatra and the first Monday of Sawan, changes have been made in the traffic system of Agra. The route will be diverted on the Kanwar Yatra and the first Monday of Sawan in Agra. Keeping in mind the safety of everyone during the Kanwar Yatra and the arrival of devotees in the temples in Agra city, changes have been made in the traffic on a large scale.

The diversion will be such that vehicles coming from Hathras district will be sent towards Sikandrarao Mathura. Vehicles coming from Mathura will be able to go towards Firozabad without any hindrance. All vehicles coming from Aligarh will be taken out via Etmadpur NH 19 via Mudi Chauraha. All vehicles coming towards Etah will be taken out via Etmadpur via NH 19, heavy vehicles coming from Gwalior / Jaipur will be taken out on NH 19 via Southern Bypass, vehicles coming from Fatehabad will go through Ring Road.
