Samsung Galaxy AI can now be used in Hindi as well as 16 languages ​​included

Samsung Samsung is one of the first smartphone brands to incorporate Galaxy AI capabilities in its Galaxy smartphones. Although it started with Samsung’s expensive phones, the aim is to inbuilt Galaxy AI in every Samsung device in the coming days. Realizing the importance of the Indian market, the company has added many new languages ​​to Galaxy AI. Galaxy AI now includes 16 languages, including Hindi. According to a report, this has been possible due to global collaboration and partnership with academic institutions. Samsung’s Bangalore-based R&D Institute was also involved in this development.

According to a PTI report, apart from Hindi, Galaxy AI has now been expanded to some other languages ​​including ‘Thai’, ‘Vietnamese’ and ‘Indonesian’. According to the report, it was not easy to develop the Hindi AI model for Galaxy AI. To make it better, the team included more than 20 regional dialects, tonal inflections, punctuation and colloquial languages ​​in it. Hindi speakers often add English words to it during conversation. This has also been taken care of in the Hindi AI model.

According to the report, the research team had to complete several rounds to develop the Hindi model for Galaxy AI, only then the AI ​​model could be trained. According to the report, Vellore Institute of Technology also helped in this work and helped in securing their curated audio data by dividing about 10 lakh lines of Hindi into segments.

Samsung’s R&D Institute Bangalore worked with R&D teams across the world and developed AI models for British, Indian and Australian English. Talking about the features, Galaxy AI can be used for tasks like live translation, note assistant, browsing assistant etc.
