Sambhal News: Now in the council schools of Sambhal, students and visitors will not be able to call teachers as Madam or Sir, instead they will have to call female teachers as Didi or Behan ji and male teachers as Guru ji. Apart from this, only Namaste or Jai Hind words will be used for greeting. Not only this, but now no one will be able to take slippers or shoes inside the class room, instead, like a temple, shoes and slippers will have to be taken off outside the room before entering. These guidelines have been issued by Basic Education Officer Alka Sharma of Sambhal on the orders of the District Officer of Sambhal.

Alka Sharma says that this will promote our Indian culture and traditions. Therefore, such an order has been issued and instructions have been given to follow it strictly. Under this order, women teachers of council schools will now be addressed as Didi or Behan ji. While the word Guruji will be used for male teachers. This exercise is being started to bring the ancient culture on the ground, this step will increase the respect for teachers among children.

Tobacco and gutkha will be banned in schools
He told that apart from school children, the officers who come to inspect the school will also address the teachers as Didi or Behan Ji and Guru Ji. Apart from this, no teacher will use paan, cigarette, tobacco etc. during school hours. If any teacher is found using them, action will be taken against the concerned teachers. Not only this, the use of plastic bottles in the school will be completely prohibited, if anyone uses them, then action will be taken against him. District Basic Education Officer Alka Sharma told that the children studying in the school will say Namaste or Jai Hind to their teachers.

He told that saying Jai Hind will awaken the feeling of patriotism in the minds of children. This will make the children think about the country. Apart from this, male and female teachers coming to school will not come wearing jeans, t-shirts etc. but will come to school wearing Indian attire. Alka Sharma told that school is like a temple, so the behavior we follow in the temple should be adopted in the school as well. BSA told that teachers and children should not wear shoes in the school classroom. Rather, they should take off their shoes or slippers outside the classroom and then go inside. BSA told that if any officer goes to inspect any school, he will not sit on the principal’s chair but will discuss with the teachers politely.
