Samastipur Massive Fire: An eight-year-old girl burnt to death in a massive fire incident in Samastipur on Thursday (April 25) afternoon. Many cattle also died in the fire due to the accident. The incident took place in Khairakot village of Sihama Panchayat of Bithan police station area of ​​Samastipur. It has come to light that about 80 houses were burnt in this incident.

The deceased girl has been identified as Neha Kumari, eight-year-old daughter of Prithvi Kumar of the same village. Regarding the incident, the villagers told that when the fire broke out, the girl was sleeping inside the house. The family could not get him out of the house after the fire. Due to this, the girl remained sleeping at home and died due to burns. Several goats and a cow died in the incident.

The fire was brought under control after hours of effort

According to the villagers, the first fire broke out in the house of Brahmadev Yadav, resident of Khairakot village. By the time people could understand anything, the fire had taken a huge form. Within no time, about 80 nearby houses were affected. In this incident, the items kept in the house were burnt to ashes. The villagers gathered after the incident tried to extinguish the fire with the help of a pump set. Then three vehicles of the fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control after a lot of effort.

Victims will get facilities provided at government level

In this entire matter, CO Ruby Kumari said that about 80 houses have been burnt in the fire incident. CI has been instructed to prepare its list. All the victim families will be provided facilities available at the government level. Police Station Head Jawahar Lal Ram said that the girl’s body has been sent to Sadar Hospital Samastipur for post-mortem. After post-mortem the body will be handed over to the family.
