Chhattishgarh News: Torrential rains have been wreaking havoc in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh for the last few days. Due to continuous rains in Bijapur, rivers and streams are overflowing. Hundreds of villages have lost contact with the district headquarters. Meanwhile, a pleasant picture has emerged from the Usoor area.
The soldiers of CRPF’s 196th battalion and Cobra’s 205th battalion have set an example of humanity. They rescued the pregnant woman and her newborn baby and helped them cross the river. Madvi Jagi, a resident of Nayapara of Nambi village, had a premature delivery.
The mother and child had to go to the primary health center Usur for treatment. It was difficult to cross the Nambidhara river due to high water. Seeing the situation, the soldiers of CRPF’s 196th battalion and Cobra 205 battalion posted in Nambi camp helped the newborn baby and the woman cross the river safely. The soldiers used Jugaad to cross the river.
