South Africa has made a good start in the second test after defeating Bangladesh in the first test. He has scored 307 runs for two wickets on the first day of the second test match. If South Africa wins the second Test against Bangladesh then it will be very close to the final.

The second Test match of the 2-match series between South Africa and Bangladesh started in Chittagong on Tuesday. The African team made a good start by winning the toss. Captain Aiden Markram made a partnership of 69 runs with fellow opener Tony de Georgi. On this score Aiden Markram was out after scoring 33 runs. After this Tony DeGeorge and Tristan Stubbs made a record partnership of 201 runs. Together these two took their team to 270 runs.

After the dismissal of Stubbs, Georgie along with David Bedingham (18) took his team to 307 runs. When the day’s play was declared over, Tony DeGeorge was unbeaten on 141 runs.

If South Africa wins, it will reach third place.
If South Africa also wins the second Test match from Bangladesh, then it will have 54.16 points (winning percentage) in the WTC points table. With this, he will come third in the points table. South Africa has to play two home Test series after Bangladesh, in which it has more chances of winning. If it also wins the home series then it can go beyond 63.00 points (winning percentage). Currently India is at first position in the table with 62.82 points (winning percentage). Australia (62.50) is at second place.
