Elon Musk on Russia Ukraine War: Even though Donald Trump has won the US Presidential elections and will officially take charge of the country by taking oath as President in January 2025, attacks on his opponents continue from his side. In this series, the world’s richest man Elon Musk, who is close to him and has played an important role in the election campaign this time, has shared a video which is raising questions on Joe Biden’s tenure. Although Musk has not taken anyone’s name, Biden was the President when the war between Russia and Ukraine started.

Actually, Elon Musk has shared a video on X. In this he has pointed towards the alleged role played by America in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. In the video, American economist Jeffrey De Sachs is seen arguing about the roots of the Ukraine war. Sachs claimed that it was not just aggression by Russia, but US-led NATO expansion that triggered the conflict between the neighboring countries.

Accused of provoking Russia

In this video, Sachs is seen saying that America’s intention to include Ukraine in NATO directly instigated Russian President Putin to attack. “This is not Putin’s attack on Ukraine, as we have been told,” he stressed.

Economist made a big claim in the video

It is not clear what date the video Musk has shared is from, but in it Sachs can be heard saying that NATO broke the promise made to the then Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev in 1990. He said that NATO had promised not to move east even an inch in exchange for the reunification of Germany. He argues that America has cheated ever since. He argued that the problems began with NATO’s expansion. The controversy further escalated with the official inclusion of Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic in 1999.
