Rupauli By-Election 2024: After the Lok Sabha elections, a political battle has erupted over the by-election to be held in Rupauli. The Mahagathbandhan has fielded rebel JDU candidate Bima Bharti from RJD, while Kaladhar Mandal is contesting on JDU ticket. Actually, Pappu Yadav has claimed a different option. Pappu Yadav said that by the evening of the last day of nomination on Friday (21st June), a new face will be seen by the people of Rupauli assembly. Pappu Yadav said that he has spoken to Prashant Kishore. Both of them are waiting for a candidate to come in front of the public as a new option. By evening, a new candidate will be seen in the Rupauli by-election.
Pappu Yadav said that if the Mahagathbandhan had given ticket to any candidate from CPI, he would have supported him, but the Mahagathbandhan has made Bima Bharti the candidate. In such a situation, he will either go with the new option or keep himself away from this election. Now it will be interesting to see which new option Pappu Yadav is waiting for.
It is worth noting that in the Purnia Lok Sabha elections, Rupauli MLA Bima Bharti rebelled against JDU and joined RJD and was the candidate of India Alliance. After separating from JDU, Bima Bharti resigned from the post of MLA due to which this seat has become vacant. Now by-election is being held on this seat and again Bima Bharti is the candidate. Bima Bharti Lok Sabha Elections Pappu Yadav had suffered a crushing defeat in the election. In such a situation, Pappu Yadav will be a big factor in this election.
