Udaipur News: Tourist city Udaipur also got a big gift on the auspicious time of the much awaited Ramlala’s life consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. This gift was inaugurated by Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria. With this gift, Udaipur is the only place in the state where tourists will get this special facility on arrival. Through this, apart from land, tourists will now be able to admire the natural beauty and charming lakes of Udaipur while floating in the air.

Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, who reached Udaipur, said that nature has given gifts to Mewar with two hands, while our ancestors have given us a glorious history. He said that Neemuch Mata Temple is the center of public faith. Due to being at a high altitude, visitors and tourists were not able to reach easily, especially the elderly were facing a lot of trouble, but now they too will be able to easily have darshan of their adored goddess. Actually, a ropeway is being built here to reach Neemuch Mata temple.

Ropeway being built to reach the temple
District Collector Arvind Poswal said that in the year 2016, an action plan was made to build a ropeway. In the year 2018, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between UIT and Damodar Ropeways and Ifa Limited. Its work started in April 2022. The horizontal length of this ropeway, prepared at a cost of approximately Rs 13.5 crore, is 429.419 meters. The work of this project will be carried out by Ropeway Infra Limited for a period of 25 years. From this project, Udaipur Development Authority will earn an income of Rs 90 lakh in the initial years, after which this income will increase by five percent every year.

You will be able to reach Neemuch Mata Temple in three minutes
Lower terminal, 4 towers and upper terminal have been constructed in the ropeway. The journey by ropeway to the Neemuch Mata temple site will be completed in three minutes and while going from the ropeway to the temple site and coming down again, a pause of one minute has been kept in the middle of the ropeway. Earlier this facility was built on the Karni Mata temple situated on the hill near Pichola Lake of Udaipur. Devotees use ropeway to visit this temple. Now rope-way facility will be available at two places in Udaipur, in this case Udaipur is the first city of Rajasthan, where rope-way facility will be available at two places.
