New Delhi. Team India is performing brilliantly in the World Cup 2023. India has won all its 6 matches played so far. Everyone is praising Indian captain Rohit Sharma. Everyone is convinced of his batting and leadership abilities, but Rohit Sharma is not taking the praise for captaincy very seriously. He said that I know that one bad match and people will call me a bad captain, so I am not paying too much attention to these things.

Before the match against Sri Lanka, Rohit Sharma said that he does not think too much about the praise he is getting as captain. He said that you read the situation in the match, look at the scoreboard and then try to take the right decisions. Sometimes your decisions are right and work and sometimes it doesn’t. You have to be prepared for it.

Rohit further said, “If I know that I am taking a decision and it is in the interest of the team then it is fine. I know how things work. I don’t think much about captaincy because one bad match and I will become a bad captain.”

India has so far won five matches in this World Cup by chasing the target and then won against England by defending a small score. So far two matches have been played at Wankhede Stadium and in both, South Africa batted first and scored 350 plus. However, Rohit did not reveal any strategy in the press conference as to what Team India would do if it wins the toss.

IND vs SL Playing 11: Will Ashwin make a comeback in Team India? 9 players decided, will Rohit make changes in playing-11?

IND vs SL: 3 challenges in front of Rohit, player suddenly returned to Sri Lanka team, big threat, how will he overcome?

Regarding this, Rohit said, “I am not going to tell what we will do if we win the toss. This is a ground where things can be unpredictable at times as there is a lot on offer for the bowlers as well. Bowlers can also force the opposing team to kneel with one of their spells. There is some help for bowlers and batsmen at Wankhede. Spinners also remain in the game here.”
