Looking at the trends so far, Conservative Party leader and outgoing Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has accepted his defeat. Counting is still going on. Rishi Sunak has retained his seat in Richmond and Northallerton. He said that the Labor Party has won this general election and I have called Keir Starmer to congratulate him on his victory. The Labor Party was ahead in the exit poll
After the voting, the exit polls also revealed that Keir Starmer is going to become the next Prime Minister of Britain. His Labor Party will win the parliamentary elections with a huge majority, while Rishi Sunak’s Conservative Party was predicted to suffer huge losses in the exit polls. The exit polls have shown that the Labor Party will win 410 seats in the 650-seat Parliament, due to which the 14-year-old Conservative-led government will collapse this time. This is what the counting so far seems to be saying. It is estimated that Sunak’s party will get only 131 seats, whereas earlier the Conservative Party had got 346 seats. This time the infighting within the party is being said to be the reason behind this condition of the Conservatives.
Starmer thanked the public
Seeing the huge support the party is getting, Keir Starmer has thanked the public. He said that we will work for those people also who have not voted for us. Starmer told the public that I will speak for you, I will fight for you every day, I am ready for change. Starmer said that the change is starting now with your vote.
