New Delhi. Former Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant has not been retained for IPL 2025. It is possible that Delhi will bid on him again in the mega auction. Pant rejected batting great Sunil Gavaskar’s speculation that he left the Delhi Capitals team due to differences over his retention fee ahead of the mega auction of the Indian Premier League.
Sunil Gavaskar told Star Sports, “The equations of auction are different. We don’t know how it will happen. But I believe that Delhi team would like to buy Rishabh Pant again. Many times, at the time of retention, there is discussion between the franchise and the player regarding fees. It is possible that there may be some differences there.” Pant also saw this video and replied on it.
My retention wasn’t about the money for sure that I can say
